The Honest Detail

About our 100% biodegradable claim

When we say 100% biodegradable, we mean the teabag itself — the tissue mesh that holds the leaves. Made from plant-based fibres, it breaks down naturally in a home compost, leaving nothing behind but soil.

The outer carton is fully recyclable, and the inner foil liner (which keeps the leaves fresh for you) is kept to the minimum we need for a premium seal. We believe in telling you exactly what is, and isn't, compostable — because transparency is part of the ritual.
